On 23 June 2014 Julius Lee from GICJ delievered an oral statement under agenda item 7 of the 26 regular session of the Human Rights Council. He regretted that so far no dedicated activities have been undertaken by the Human Rights Council to participate in the observance of the international year of solidarity with the Palestinian people Council, and requested for a panel discussion to be held at the 27th regular session of the HRC in September.
